We are so excited about helping you get organized and making spaces lovely! In our blog, you will read about the benefits of organized living and how to get there but let's put it into perspective first. Purpose and Place preaches organized living but life as a whole is enjoyed best by living each little moment of joy, pain, and love to the fullest. We should all "enjoy the little things in life, for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things."
Being organized makes time for the little things in life but don’t stress over it. When the doorbell rings, I have been known to throw the last dishes in the washer and swoop up everything else into the laundry room in a quick-minute-frenzy on my way to the door. But I have learned over the years that friends don’t care about your dirty dishes and they may even feel more comfortable knowing you leave plates in the sink sometimes. Neighbors understand that you may fold laundry on the breakfast table or raise kids that leave out their toys.
Being organized is not about being perfect but it is about making time for what really matters. Don't miss that impromptu visit when a friend needs you or your mom needs a ride to the store, or the precious moment when your child wants to read a book in your lap because these are the little things that make up life and... IT. WON’T. LAST. FOREVER.
